Asian American Community Heroes Mural

San Francisco, California 2022
Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco and Wells Fargo were proud to honor twelve Asian American community heroes. This was an exciting and timely project that welcomed students of all ages to submit inspirational figures, either from history or their personal lives, to be celebrated on a public mural. This mural was designed to highlight important Asian American figures and give youth a platform to uplift voices and share untold stories.

Birmingham, Alabama 2022
In 1961, segregation was illegal on interstate public transport, but the law was ignored in the Deep South. This mural, designed for Birmingham, Alabama, tells the story of the Freedom Riders who put themselves at risk to uphold the law.

West Hollywood LGBTQ Mural

West Hollywood, California 2014
Wells Fargo’s West Hollywood Mural Project celebrates the unique history and diversity of the local LGBT community. This mural was designed with historical images of West Hollywood along with personal photos of pioneering activists who were on the front lines during the early struggle for LGBT rights. The mural was unveiled on the eve of the Los Angeles Pride Festival and Parade by Stuart Milk, nephew of Harvey and founder of the Milk Foundation.
